Newly Acquired Fears?

What is this fear that has been growing inside of me? It gets worse every night. This innate fear of everything surrounding me. I am afraid of the dark lately, I have never really been afraid of the dark until recently. And it's not even a rational fear... I am afraid when I am alone in the apartment. I am afraid that someone is walking around outside of my door, even though I triple checked to make sure I locked the doors... Deadbolt and all. I am afraid of keeping my closet open, and I am terrified of the space under my bed. I am not scared that something or someone might pop out of them, its just the fact that they are pitch black and I can't see anything. My heart starts to race, I can't think clearly, I get paranoid, I keep my headboard's light on at night so that way I can see everything that is going on. I get scared when I wake up in the morning to take my shower, what if someone breaks in while I am in there and shoots/stabs me or something? This is why I listen to my music and have it blaring on my radio while I am in there, I am sorry because it probably bugs the woman upstairs but I can't help it, I am terrified. When I am driving anymore, I worry about all the things that could go horrible today. What if I got into a horrible car accident and died; or worse, was in a coma?!?!? I don't want to be a vegetable, and then what if someone pulls the plug and there is a chance of my recovery and I die? I am not the type of person to be as scared of things as I am, and this sucks horribly because I am supposed to be the brave one out of people I talk to. I have always been the pillar of stability, what is wrong with me? Would this in any way be connected to my being depressed and lonely? Also keep in mind that I am 22 and just started developing these fears a few months ago.

I am troubled by the sheer volume of the megaphone (loud speaker as they call them) all over mosques in Lahore and other cities. How did this become a custom and practice in Islam to blare out sermons and call to prayer at well above 100dBA? I know that at 13 you just want to have your life planned out as much as you can but there's only so much you can do. Keep doing good in school and exercise on a regular basis, that the most you can do right now. If your high school offers jrotc as an elective sign up for it even if its not army jrotc it will still give you a feel for it. When the time does.come to talk.to your parents be confident but also show 'em you did your homework. Know what benefits and downfall you are going to have. Personally my parents weren't too happy about it but after graduating bct they were extremely proud.

His choice was that or the Magnum Research. He said he tried to eject the magazine and put it back in on the Magnum research one time and said forget that. I didn't get to do as much with it as I would have liked to but it handled like a nice 1911. Yes, the books are very much Team Eric vs. Team Bill, though it's actually split down the middle as to which side the "author" favors. Some books she's definitely one, some she's all the way the other, ha ha. But there are moments of other "players" such as Alcide and Quinn (who I pray will be in the show!!). They did SUCH a fine job casting Alcide, I can only imagine what Quinn will look like!

Hey guys. For the past week I've had ringing in my ears, I'm not sure if it will be temporary or permanent. I shot a few rounds out of a handgun with no ear protection is how it happened. It has light .44 Special loads that you can use for practice, and it also has full house .44 magnum loads you can use for deer hunting. The .44 Mag is a lot more versatile than the .45 Colt with factory loads. It's a no contest for me. I've owned several .44 Magnum revolvers but none in .45 Long Colt.

Im writing 3 novels currently. Mine sound good, but yours might be better. All you need to do is put a little more flow into the train of thought. Instead of skipping from scene to scene so fast, fill it in a little more. Also, instead of using vivid adjectives every sentence, use them a little more sparingly. When I lived in Michigan (Farmington Hills), the sirens were on so often, it seemed like it was several times a day. It was prettymuch always a test. Why does only one of my speakers work?

I recently got these new speakers and only one of the speakers is working. This happened about 3 weeks ago and i wiggled the wires in the back and it magically started working again. Today when i turned it on only one speaker was working so I messed with the wires and that didn't work. I went to the area that tells you information about the speakers and made sure that i have 100% volume coming out of each one. I know I didn't blow the speakers because I wasn't blaring my music yesterday and they were working fine. Also my speakers have a headphone jack into them so i plugged in my head phones into that and only one of the head phones works while plugged into that. What can I do about bad neighbors noise and doing drugs?

I can totally relate to your issues! We have neighbors that are the same only they are a family with a lunatic 24 year old son who has mental problems. He is dangerous and the other day my 18 year old daughter told me she caught hin peeking in the front window of the house. We have several smaller girls as well. He "guards" his driveway at night with a pitchfork insisting people were walking on his roof etc. He has serious drug problems and sells prescription drugs all the time. The other day in a fit of paranoia, he fired a shotgun in his backyard to scare the boogymen away. My fiance who was home alone got scared and called police who came and arrested him only because he was found to have a prior warrent. They did not even confiscate the gun and he was home again the same afternoon! The moral of the story is the cops are not going to protect you. They show up after the fact and call the coroner. I went over and warned him to stay the **** out of our yard and warned him to stay away from the children. My fiance has her own shotgun and knows how to use it because again, the law will not protect you. Your neighbors sleep sometime so find out when that is and take the lawnmower out and let it sit there and run until it's out of gas. Blast your own stereo at these times. Shoot the damn dogs if they threaten you in your own yard! I'm serious. Also, your husband should grow some balls and protect his family! I'm sorry to say it.

Well first of all airsplat is way cheaper than most stores, but it looks like the one from airsoftmegastore is much more solid that the one from airsplat. I would go for the megastore revolver. By the way unless that is your primary I would cut that barrle down a bit. I personaly carrie and M9A1 as my side arm with a cut of revolver in my boot, it works great as a back up

Gun for street defense?

I recently received a concealed weapon license, as my Job as a PI is dangerous. Now, the only problem is choosing the weapon. Thinking about reporting my neighbor's trailer to be condemned?

year ago my husband and I found a house in the middle of my school, his work, and our church. The only problem I had was about 20 yards or less from our house was the most awful looking trailer with junk all around it. We told the landlord we did not want to rent the house because of the eye sore. He said the tenants had not paid rent for 2 years and that they would be kicked out before we even got moved in. Well that never happened he kept putting it off and putting it off. Every time he they do something, he says "If they do something one more time I'm kicking them out!" Of course though he never does. They stole a puppy which I went and took it literally out of their hands. They dug up our basketball goal while we were on vacation and put it in their yard. We had to get it back ourselves. They even stole a netflix dvd out of our mailbox. They cuss their 2 toddler sons out all day. They don't really watch them. The boys are always on my poor knocking on my door or in my yard. The worst part is that they blare music all day long! I can't handle it. Everytime our landlord turns onto the drive, they turn it off to make him think I'm lying. Then, as soon as he leaves, they turn it back up. There is no noise ordinance so nothing can legally be done. However, the trailer they live in is in terrible shape. It's disgusting!! Most of the windows are boarded up with plywood. Everything is tore up and it stinks really bad. If I report the trailer to the health department, will they have to move? Glass Bedding a rifle for higher accuracy?

I have problems with recoil. First, I am very small. Five foot four, 110 pounds. Secondly, I am recovering from surgery. I have a congenital birth defect of a caved in chest (pectus excavatum). It didn't bother me when I was young, and I even got a waiver for it so I could serve in the military. It got to where it was causing me heart problems, so I got the surgery at age 34. People get it normally when they are 12 or 13, but my father was angry about having a late-in-life "oops," baby and couldn't be bothered. Because I got the surgery so late in life, they had to take drastic measures. Normally, they put in one metal strap in your chest to open it up. I now have three large, heavy, painful metal straps in my chest. Any sort of recoil is so painful that I think I may pass out. Normally, I would go hunting with a BLR Lever Action rifle in .22-250, but I am going hunting in Texas this year. The mule deer I hunt in the Angeles National Forest right behind Los Angeles are not that big. But I got a big tax return this year. I took a $6,000 pay cut as a teacher this year due to the State of California's finances. Ironically, I got a very large tax return. Because I paid a lot more taxes than I had to, due to the pay cut. So I have the money to go hunting in Texas for Pere David Deer at a hunting ranch. However, Pere David Deer are about 400 pounds, and a 60 grain bullet will not cut it. I need a .243. To cut the recoil, I got an automatic. The action absorbs the recoil. Over the internet, I got a Winchester Model 100 semi automatic carbine that was fired once and put away. The gun needs a lot of work. It has no checkering on the forearm, the stock is three inches too long for me, and the scope is this bizarre thing with "rangefinder," and "widefield," lens. I don't like it. It is a Redfield 2x-7x with all these bells and whistles. Some fad from the 1970's. (The bill of sale in the box is from 1972. I bought the gun from the guy's widow.) Anyway, I fired the gun. Oh Lord. 6 inch groups to 8 inch groups. So I went to this old fart at the range who is considered the authority on everything. I have personally seen this guy (he is 71 ) shoot his .257 Weatherby Magnum into a group of about a nickel at 100 yards. He fired my gun. The best he could do was a five inch group, and this guy is a magnificent shot. He said I needed to a) Put a Leupold Scope on the gun b) Make sure the scope mount is correctly mounted, and c) have the gun "glass bedded." (whatever THAT is). He says if I do that, the gun's groups will shrink in half, probably down to 2 and 1/2 inches. So I sent away for a Leupold 1.5x- 5x scope (I rarely shoot over 100 yards), and the mount for it recommended by Leupold. The old fart gave me the card for a gunsmith who will glass bed the rifle. I assume "glass" means fiberglass. But I wonder if I am simply being taken to the cleaners. First of all, CAN YOU "glass bed" a Winchester Model 100? Secondly, will taking three inches off the stock make the gun inoperable? Third, can ANY gunsmith checker the fore end of a wooden gun stock, or is that a job for a specialist? Also, if you were going to shoot a 400 to 500 pound deer with a .243, what off the shelf cartridges would you use? And do you think that "glass bedding" this rifle would make it shoot any better?

Accidental dog fight~legal action question?

I had came back from swimming at the pool in our apt and mind you I'm juggling an uptight 11 month old and our dog and cat greeting us. We live in an apt complex and we have a door that doesn't always shut properly for some reason. I mean our dog was just defending her territory and my baby and I...its a natural instinct when a threatning animal or person they don't know walks in our aptartment. How would you compare the .308 Winchester round and .300 Winchester Magnum round?

power and range are going to be with the 300 win accuracy will be a toss up depending on the shooter and gun. It will be much harder to shoot the 300 accurately because of recoil. Thats why everyone hasn't just purchased a 300 win mag, it kicks like a mule and is more than is needed for deer. Personally if I need more gun than a 308 or 30'06 I am getting a 338 win mag or 375 mag. Most will consider the 300 win mag a little light for grizzly bears and similar sized dangerous animals. So what it really comes down to is do you want to pay $40 a box for shells and endure double the recoil so you can shoot elk and moose at 500 yards(where most hunters will miss as often as they hit)or use the 308 and be limited to 300 on moose and elk. The 308 will still have plenty left to take whitetail deer at 500 yards, but again do you really think you should be shooting that far.

Dodge Magnum Brake Noise?

I bought a 2007 Dodge Magnum about a month ago and I am having load noise coming from the brakes when they are pressed. I had a shop look at it he replaced pads, greased, and checked rotors did all that he could (30+ years experience). I am only seventeen but I have a cousin who can act like your daughter sometimes and it is hard to take care of her sometimes. What I do to my cousin is I talk to her in a stern voice and make eye contact. The eye contact is the key it shows authority don't force her to look at you just say her name until she looks at you even if it takes about a hundred times before she does. I am one of the only one my cousin listens to and I never lay a hand on her, yell at her, etc. Don't spank your child because physical abuse like that doesn't help much you just have to have patience. Also when she goes into a tantrum just put her in her room and ignore her until she calms down then talk to her. I hope this helps!

1993 dodge dakota wont start but when it does it idles weird and when i press the gas it shuts off?

Its a 1993 Dodge Dakota 3.9L V6 Magnum and usually it doesn't want to start but if i do get it to start it idles hard and sounds bad and if i press the gas it just shuts of. But if it hasn't been run for awhile and if the truck isn't that hot it will start up and ride like normal. But if the trucks even a little hot it wont start up and sometimes its starts when i spray starter fluid in the carberatuer but usually it doesn't. But i'm not sure whats wrong with it?

Yes, in fact I saw a vid of a person who said (I'm goin of what he said not saying it's a fact but it makes sense). He said when you shoot a gun with two hands the recoil goes straight back and up (twards the face area) but one handed it goes up and to the left or right depending on what hand your shooting.

How do I correctly adjust the sight on a lever action rifle, front or rear sight?

I recently bought a Marlin 1894 in .357 magnum, and it came complete with a sight which is out. I've had it at the range, and it is putting patterns to the right a little. 2 range officers confirmed this. My dilemma is this. One of the range officers told me to move the front sight (to the right) with my hand somehow? It is a standard screw in front sight so I don't think it could be tapped? He also said quite adamantly, not to dare go touching the rear sight! However, the manual says to tap the rear sight to adjust windage. Does anyone know why he would say this? I should also point out that on inspection, it looks to me that the rear sight is slightly misaligned to the right, so i'm tempted to tap it to the left, with a brass taper of course. Can anyone enlighten me?

I go there every year, and last year was my first year riding actual roller coasters like Iron Dragon, and Gemini. I want to ride Iron Dragon, Gemini, Disaster Transport, Wild Cat, (maybe not because of the long line) Corkscrew, (my first up side down coaster) Magnum, (maybe) Raptor, (less of a possibility) and some thrill rides. I only have one day to do it since the economy is so bad and we can't afford to do two days. How do I put it all in one day without wasting my time and being able to go to soak city with some extra time two rest. I pretty much just want to know what times to d each ride, or when do you suggest to do each ride. Like when the lines are shortest. What can I do about bad neighbors noise and doing drugs?

I can totally relate to your issues! We have neighbors that are the same only they are a family with a lunatic 24 year old son who has mental problems. He is dangerous and the other day my 18 year old daughter told me she caught hin peeking in the front window of the house. We have several smaller girls as well. He "guards" his driveway at night with a pitchfork insisting people were walking on his roof etc. He has serious drug problems and sells prescription drugs all the time. The other day in a fit of paranoia, he fired a shotgun in his backyard to scare the boogymen away. My fiance who was home alone got scared and called police who came and arrested him only because he was found to have a prior warrent. They did not even confiscate the gun and he was home again the same afternoon! The moral of the story is the cops are not going to protect you. They show up after the fact and call the coroner. I went over and warned him to stay the **** out of our yard and warned him to stay away from the children. My fiance has her own shotgun and knows how to use it because again, the law will not protect you. Your neighbors sleep sometime so find out when that is and take the lawnmower out and let it sit there and run until it's out of gas. Blast your own stereo at these times. Shoot the damn dogs if they threaten you in your own yard! I'm serious. Also, your husband should grow some balls and protect his family! I'm sorry to say it.

alright so i just got my G2 a little while ago and im a very responsible driver. i was driving my friend home today and i pulled into her drive way. when i was backing out and just about to put it in drive again to leave, this crazy car comes speeding up the street, blaring music, with no intention of moving out of the way. he wouldve sideswipped me (at the very least!) so i straightened my car out to move out of the way. though, in the panic of doing this, though i did it very slowly (2km/h) i accidentally touched the car behind me. i got out and looked but there was no damage to the car and nobody around to talk to. i didnt leave a note because there was no damage. did i do the wrong thing?

A month ago May 19th, on this date i got my first depo provera shot and 2 nights ago Friday was the 3rd time me and my boyfriend had sex. It was like 3-5 minutes before my boyfriend came i noticed a different but better feeling and when he got done thats when we noticed the condom broke, soon as that happened i made sure i wiped off my vagina from any semen. I also heard that after sex your suppose to go to the bathroom and when you pee push, and with me being skeptical i even took the initiative to stand up since we had sex. Kinda weird i know, But then 5 minutes after sex i notice in the underwear and whites pants it was a clear substance coming outta me, as if my water broke. I thought it was the depo working exiting the semen outta me. And to include i took pregnancy test before when i thought i was having pregnancy symptoms but my doctor told me it was just the depo kicking in with the side effects. Usually the condom never broke before when we had sex,until now when we used a different condom. That particular night we used 2 different condoms when the first one was filled. We used the "Trojan Magnum" condom which we always used and "Lifestyle" condoms which was my first time using. and please don't tell me the only thing i should worry about is catching std's/hiv/aid's because he's clean and i know this, so thats the last thing im worried about. So please let me know if i'm covered by the birth control shot (Depo provera) and if i need to take any more precautions.
